Sara King, MPH, is a Lecturer and Associate Director of the Bachelor of Public Health program in the Department of Health Promotion Sciences. She enjoys teaching public and community health classes to undergraduate students at the OU Norman campus. In her practice experience, King led local public health initiatives across urban and rural communities during the COVID-19 pandemic, launched an organization-based doula program, has served as a Public Information Officer for emergency response, and contributed to developing the Community Engagement and Health Planning division for a county health department region. She continues her commitment to community engagement through board and committee roles in local nonprofits and community coalitions.
