HCOPH Welcomes a New Faculty Member

Lance Ford, PhD, has joined as faculty at the Hudson College of Public Health as an Assistant Professor of Research in the Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology. He is a graduate of our PhD and MS Biostatistics programs and a former Hudson Fellow in Public Health. Dr. Ford’s statistical research has focused on high-dimensional regression methods that are used in gene association studies. His other research interests include machine learning techniques, meta-analyses, and pragmatic clinical trials. Dr. Ford’s collaborative research has focused on health outcomes after subarachnoid hemorrhage, cancer prevention, and cardiovascular health. Outside of work, Lance enjoys gardening, going for walks, and spending time with friends and family.
