Social Media Assistant (part-time): Do you have a passion for OU? Do you have an interest in social media, user growth, brand awareness and other marketing initiatives? Do you want a flexible work opportunity that also provides amazing resume experience? Description:

This opportunity is a hybrid on-campus / virtual position open to anyone interested. This work can be completed mostly remotely but you will have access to the HSC campus for in-person needs. This position will be responsible for creating a deliberate and intentional social media strategy that will build and grow brand awareness and create a positive online reputation.

Through this flexible, part-time role you will promote the Hudson College of Public Health faculty, staff and student experience by managing the college’s social media accounts. This position will work under the supervision of the Director of Communications to create social media posts and videos as well as create website content.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to create relevant, original, high-quality content for all platforms
  • Strategies to promote and grow the reputation of the Hudson College of Public Health
  • Create a regular publishing schedule and promote content on all platforms
  • Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific and timely marketing campaigns
  • Integrate all channels of marketing (social media, content marketing, website content, email print and digital marketing)
  • Creative mindset and ability to multitask
  • Strong social media writing skills
  • Must be able to work unsupervised
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
  • Proven ability to design social media campaigns and posts that bring measurable results
  • Understand the overall concept of the college, including its faculty, staff, students, departments, programs and all other aspects of service

Hours:

  • 10 hours per week

Salary:

  • $15 per hour
