The COVID-19 Committee (C19C) is a student-led committee that recruits and connects OUHSC students to COVID-19 projects and initiatives happening on campus. The C19C also recognizes student involvement in the fight to end the pandemic.
Tram Le, a medical student in the OU College of Medicine, worked with the OCCHD in the summer of 2020 to perform contact tracing and COVID-19 case investigations. They did by over the phone, calling countless Oklahomans. Tram also helped coordinate the training and certification of more than 300 medical and dental students to deliver vaccine injections. She collaborated with OUHSC faculty and OU Health providers and staff to coordinat student volunteers from all 7 colleges on campus to host more than 20 mega-vaccination events which led to the vaccination of 50,000+ Oklahomans.
If you are a student who has been (or is) involved in the fight to end the pandemic, please connect with the C19C at https://bit.ly/3sFuR8z to have your contributions recognized.
