BSE Alumna at OU-TU School of Community Medicine Named as Carol Emmott Fellow

Juell Homco, PhD, MPH, BSE Alumna and OU-Tulsa School of Community Medicine Professor, has been named a 2022 Carol Emmott Fellow. The Carol Emmott Fellowship awards a select number of positions each year to women professionals in health care who are making lasting change in their communities and institutions, and who serve as exemplary advocates for equity in the workplace and beyond! Dr. Juell Homco graduated from the Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology in 2019 with a PhD in epidemiology. Homco leads the OU-TU School of Community Medicine’s community analytics efforts. This team is responsible for providing advanced data analytics, performance dashboards and quality improvement support to the OU Health Physicians clinics, the Oklahoma Primary Healthcare Improvement Cooperative (OPHIC), the Sooner Health Access Network and numerous multidisciplinary researchers across Oklahoma.
